TOUR 1: Twelve Apostles, Great Ocean Road and Gourmet Trail
We explore the magnificent coastal attractions along the shipwreck coast and Great Ocean Road and include a range of areas of environmental and historical significance along the way. We return via Timboon and visit a selection of local wine, cheese, icecream manufactures and a berry farm.
TOUR 2: Historical Portland and Bridgewater Bay
The tour explores the Shipwreck coast, Historical Portland and some of the spectacular scenery along the Cape Nelson State Park and beautiful Bridgewater Bay.
TOUR 3: Grampians National Park & Halls Gap
Enjoy the spectacular scenery of the National Park as we travel to Halls Gap and view abundant wildlife, wildflowers and waterfalls.
TOUR 4: The Otway Fly, Moonlight Heads and Great Ocean Road.

Directions:
By Road
Southwest Explorer is based in Warrnambool which is 260kms by road to Melbourne.
Alternative routes are via the Princess Hwy, the Great Ocean Road or inland via Ballarat and the volcanic region.
By Train
There is a comfortable and relaxing train service from Melbournes Southern Cross Station 3 times daily that takes a little over 3 hours. Pick-up from the station upon arrival can be arranged. |
